Hello, old friend.

It's been awhile. I haven't been much of a friend lately, but things have been weird. Transition - even good transition - is a lot of work, and takes an enormous amount of concentration. I've been short on introspection for some time now and that seems to be the role this place has traditionally filled for me. No breakthroughs = no updates, it would appear; but if I wait for clarity I doubt I'd ever blog again.

So, I'm here.

Let's see what happens.
