Project Remodel
So, day two of the house remodel is now in session. Yesterday sexyrobot and I braved the black hole/time warp that is Ikea for furniture that doesn't look like it came out of a dorm room. (No, that sentence is not self-contradictory.) The best piece so far is this, which matches the existing bedroom furniture beautifully. Getting it home on the roof of my little Kia was an adventure in itself.
Today it's off to the garment district to buy material for drapes and such to replace the truly unfortunate vertical blinds.
Must. Get. Caffeine.
