It's official! A new apartment has been secured. I'm picking up the keys and signing the lease tonight. Post all your tried and true moving and sanity-retention tips here.

I'm going to need them!

Alcohol, drugs and chocolate go in a bag all their own in a secure car seat preferably in the passenger side of your car so as you can do the "mom reach" if you hit a light too suddenly. That is my only moving/sanity saving tip.
