Almost, but not quite...

Dammit!

Still no internet service! (Thanks, Comcast) And the nearest internet cafe smells like sewage.

I'm still coughing up parts of my lungs and my attitude is verging on murderous, but I realize I've got a lot to be grateful for. The move went well, I'm no longer a resident of East Buh-Fuh, and I've got two months to get everything in order before the new semester starts. The neighborhood and the neighbors seem cool, and I'm close to everything.

Now if I can just get healthy again - sooner, rather than later - and take advantage of all the local goodness, I'd be a much happier person.

Here's to more Theraflu...

It has always amazed me that the main competence of a cable company is installing and providing cable service but they rarely (RARELY) are efficient at the installation part (and often have to provide big discounts and fee waivers because of the ineptitude). WHAT THE HELL??
