I'm back!

Now that the whole ugly coronation extravaganza is over, we go back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Went to yoga class with Space Kitten yesterday - it's been awhile & it feels great to get a practice going again. I've been seriously considering re-joining a gym (even with my unstable financial situation) both to regain some structure in my day, and to get my energy back up. My motivation is already starting to come back - I'm sure the gorgeous weather has something to do with it, so hopefully that'll hold.

Anyway, mountains of laundry have been washed, a cubic fuckton of mail is in the process of being sorted and Project Job Search is back underway. (While I was blogging about this, I got a call from a former co-worker who wants me to send in my resume! Yay!)

Dinner tonight with Mark and Natasha (whee!) and a MonkeyFilter meetup on Sunday mean a fun weekend on tap. Just in case you were thinking it was all seriousness around here. Off to send my resume out....

Three things:

1) My poor mother had to go to one of the inaugural balls with my step-dad.

2) Getting a good yoga DVD may be a low-cose alternative to buying a pricey health club membership.

3) It SUCKS that the frequent MoFi meetups started happening after I moved. What's up with that anyway?

Obviously by "cose" I actually meant "cost".

1) Holy God, your poor, poor mother. *shudders*

2) I have a good yoga/pilates dvd. It's more of a "I'll only do this if I have to be at a certain place at a certain time" kind of thing. A good look at my budget will probably cure me of wanting to join a gym until I get work again.

3) MonkeyFilter meetups are a grandious title for getting me, sexyrobot, squidranch & mandyman together to drink.

Let me be the first to put out a call for a Denver Monkey Meetup.....
