OK.
I realize I have no one but myself to blame.
Checking out Target's 75% off clearance sale on-line, (!) I figured I'd look for some work clothes. I did a quick search for leggings; specifically, black, subdued leggings*, the kind meant to be worn with boots so they're indistinguishable from tights, only warmer.
And I suddenly remembered exactly why their garish cousins should have been left to die, forgotten, in the 1980's.
*I know, I know! But it's freezing at work, I don't intend to stuff myself into tiny pants, and they'll keep my legs from turning into icicles while I'm wearing adorable, (otherwise) warm, comfy sweater dresses. May the fashion gods have mercy on my soul.

- My sweetheart moved in and we're building a life together
- Got a promotion and a raise at work and I'm not an assistant anymore
- Toy Surprise is poised to strike out on her own
- Nosy has re-learned the joys of using his litter box (and only his litter box)
- I've got amazing friends & a social life that as a child I could only have dreamed about
