woo-hoo!!
I love my new job. That's a sentence I never thought I would write, but damn if it isn't true. I found a super secret shortcut, so the commute is totally manageable, parking is abundant and free, I get to decorate my cube the way I want, it's a TOY COMPANY so my love of all things ridiculous and cartoon-y is fully indulged, and the people are helpful, laid back, and all-around awesome. I only answer phones for one person, productivity is prized over face time, lunch is as long as I say it is as long as all my work gets done and I don't have to ask for permission to go to the loo! I get to wear jeans to work, fer crying out loud. I attended a 1st quarter results meeting today, (catered) where The Simpsons' was featured prominently in the presentation and suddenly realized.... I'm getting paid for this. Life is good.

Will wonders never cease?
- Got a new job today... that starts Monday! It looks like a great break from the more button-up world of finance and I'm really looking forward to it.
- I did my own taxes. Online. Got it done about 40 minutes before the deadline, but still. Next year? NO MORE PROCRASTINATING.
