Circusfaerie's back home! She got in about 4 am and I couldn't get back to sleep (is there anything worse than insomnia?) until around 5:30 so I totally slept in and missed the gym. Oh, well, I really needed the rest.
Even now I'm running late for work, but there's no way I was leaving without coffee & homemade bread this morning.

Happy last day of 2007!
It's almost 2008. While this is news to absolutely no-one, I'm still coming to terms with it. Circusfaerie is on her way back home from vacation and I'm running around trying to pull an outfit together for tomorrow's festivities, but I just wanted to take a moment and reflect on the fact that, holy crap, it's almost 2008.
Now I've got dinner to cook and I need to find a recipe for poppy seed bread. (Edited to add, found it! Woo-hoo!)
New Year's, and time for a fresh start around here at Space Kitty. I've been neglecting my poor little blog, and she's done nothing to deserve such a fate. I've come to realize that I really like writing for pleasure - almost as much as I enjoy reading for pleasure - and who doesn't want more of that in their life?
So thank you, Blogger, for keeping this spot warm for me - let's start the New Year together, shall we?
